Hello, I'm Michelle.

Owner and lady behind the lens of Michelle Elaine Photography.

I live on the Mornington Peninsula with my husband, two beautiful children and our dog. I can’t live without good coffee, the ocean, my Spotify playlists and of course, my family. I’ve been an educator for over 10 years, but when I’m not teaching, I’m capturing.

Whilst I’ve always been interested in photography, since having children of my own, I have quickly learned that time really is fleeting and can pass us by.

Capturing a moment with the most important people in your life is something I’m immensely passionate about.



Whether it’s the anticipation of joy in welcoming your new baby into the world, the size of their tiny toes, or the way your children laugh and play in your backyard. Having the opportunity to authentically document your life as it changes and transforms is the highest honour for me.

I believe that hearth and heart are tightly intertwined, which is why my favourite thing is to photograph in-home family sessions. This is where the daily magic happens, where memories are made, and where your stories are truly told.
